Willow Creek Group, LLC is a web design and marketing business in St. Clairsville, Ohio. This page explains what we collect when you use willowcreek.group, why we collect it, and who else sees it.
We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything here is unclear, call and ask.
The short version
We collect what you type into our forms and nothing more. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send marketing email to people who did not ask for it.
What we collect, and when
When you run a free audit. Our audit tool asks for a business name and a town. That is enough to look the business up. If you choose to unlock the full report, we also ask for your email address. We keep the business name, the town, the score, and the email address you gave us, so that we can follow up if you want us to.
You can run the preview without giving us an email.
When you ask for a quote or send a message. Our forms ask for your name, your email address, and whatever you decide to tell us. Some forms ask for a phone number. All of it is optional except the parts marked required.
When you use the client portal. If you are a client, signing in creates a record of your email address. Anything you upload, and any change request you send, is stored so that we can act on it and so that you can see it later. Sign-in works by emailed link or by Google, and either way we never see or store a password.
Ordinary web information. Our host records standard technical information about requests to the site, including IP addresses and browser types. This is how any website works, and we use it only to keep the site running.
We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
About the audit tool specifically
Our auditor reads information that is already public: Google Business Profile listings, and the public pages of a website. It does not sign in to anything, and it cannot see anything a customer of that business could not see by looking.
If you run an audit on a business, we know that you ran it. If you gave us an email address, we know that too.
How we use what we collect
To run the audit and show you the result. To answer your question or send you a quote. To do the work you hired us to do. To send you an invoice. To reply when you contact us.
That is the whole list. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent anything to anyone.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of outside services to run this business. Each one sees only the part it needs:
- Netlify hosts this website and delivers our forms to us
- Supabase runs the client portal sign-in and stores files clients upload
- Google provides the public listing and page speed information the auditor reads, and is one of the two ways to sign in to the portal
- Wave produces and sends invoices to clients
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the information it handles.
We will also share information if the law requires it. That has never happened.
How long we keep it
Audit results and the email addresses attached to them: two years, unless you ask us to remove yours sooner.
Quote requests and messages: as long as we might reasonably need them, and generally not more than three years.
Client records, files, and invoices: for as long as you are a client, and for seven years after that, because tax and business records have to be kept.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Blake@willowcreek.group or call (740) 310-9000 and we will do it. There is no form and no fee.
If you asked to hear from us and changed your mind, say so and we will stop.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you.
