Willow Creek Group, LLC is a web design and marketing business in St. Clairsville, Ohio. This page explains what we collect when you use willowcreek.group, why we collect it, and who else sees it.
We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything here is unclear, call and ask.
The short version
We collect what you type into our forms and which website or link brought you to the audit. We also advertise on Google, and when you arrive from one of our ads, Google measures whether that visit ended in a call, an audit or a quote request. We do not sell your information, we do not give what you type to advertisers, and we do not send marketing email to people who did not ask for it.
What we collect, and when
When you run a free audit. Our audit tool asks for a business name and a town. That is enough to look the business up. If you choose to unlock the full report, we also ask for your email address. We keep the business name, the town, the score, and the email address you gave us, so that we can follow up if you want us to.
You can run the preview without giving us an email.
How you found the audit. When you run an audit we also note how you got there: the tag on the link you followed, such as one from our ad or a printed sheet, or the name of the website that sent you, such as a newspaper or Facebook. We keep the site's name only, never the page you were reading or anything about you on that site. To carry this from our homepage to the audit, your browser holds it until you close the tab. It is not a cookie, and it goes nowhere unless you run an audit.
When you ask for a quote or send a message. Our forms ask for your name, your email address, and whatever you decide to tell us. Some forms ask for a phone number. All of it is optional except the parts marked required.
When you use the client portal. If you are a client, signing in creates a record of your email address. Anything you upload, and any change request you send, is stored so that we can act on it and so that you can see it later. Sign-in works by emailed link or by Google, and either way we never see or store a password.
When you use the KaizoCore app. Once a day the app asks this site for one small file that names its newest build, so it can tell you when there is one. That request carries nothing about you, your phone or your games, and the app has a switch that stops it. If the app crashes, it asks before sending us a crash report, unless you chose to send them automatically. A report says where the app failed, with the phone model, the Android and app versions and the game family. It never includes a game file, a save or a file name. If you turn on Stream, the app sends the game's picture and sound, the tracker and your attempt count to your own computer, over your USB cable or your own network, and nowhere else. It stops when you turn Stream off. If you connect Twitch, the app reads your channel's chat and answers its commands as you, with only what your tracker shows. Your Twitch sign-in and your OBS password stay on your phone, locked by its key store, and are left out of backups. Sign out removes the sign-in. We never see any of it.
When you use the mine check. As you type, the letters go from your browser to Esri’s address search for suggestions. The address you pick goes to Esri or the US Census Bureau, which finds it on a map, and the point it returns goes to the US Census Bureau’s county map (to name the county) and to the public map services of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the West Virginia Geological and Economic Survey, the West Virginia and Pennsylvania Departments of Environmental Protection, FEMA and the US Geological Survey. We do not see or keep the address. We get a note that the tool was used, with the town, the state, the answer and how you found the page. If you ask for the PDF by email, our server sends the point and the address to you only, and we get a note with the email you typed, the town and the answer, never the street address. If you use Compare houses, the list of houses is kept in your own browser on your device, not sent to us; each house on it is checked like a single address, and Clear the list removes it.
Ordinary web information. Our host records standard technical information about requests to the site, including IP addresses and browser types. This is how any website works, and we use it only to keep the site running.
Google Ads. We advertise on Google, and some pages here carry Google's ad tag. It sets a cookie that remembers you arrived from one of our ads, and tells Google Ads when that visit ends in a tap on our phone number or Messenger link, a finished audit, an email left for the full report, or a quote request. What we see is totals, such as how many audits came from ads this week. We do not send Google your name, your email, your phone number or anything you type. You can turn off ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, or block cookies in your browser, and the site works the same.
About the audit tool specifically
Our audit tool reads information that is already public: Google Business Profile listings, and the public pages of a website. It does not sign in to anything, and it cannot see anything a customer of that business could not see by looking.
If you run an audit on a business, we know that you ran it, and how you reached the audit. If you gave us an email address, we know that too.
How we use what we collect
To run the audit and show you the result. To answer your question or send you a quote. To do the work you hired us to do. To send you an invoice. To reply when you contact us.
That is the whole list. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent anything to anyone.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of outside services to run this business. Each one sees only the part it needs:
- Netlify hosts this website and delivers our forms to us
- Supabase runs the client portal sign-in and stores files clients upload
- Google provides the public listing and page speed information the audit tool reads, is one of the two ways to sign in to the portal, and runs the ads we buy, including the ad tag described above
- Wave produces and sends invoices to clients
- Resend delivers the emailed copy of an audit and the mine check PDF, and brings us the KaizoCore app's crash reports
- Twitch carries the chat commands of a KaizoCore player who connects their own Twitch account. We never see that sign-in or that chat
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the information it handles.
We will also share information if the law requires it. That has never happened.
How long we keep it
Audit results and the email addresses attached to them: two years, unless you ask us to remove yours sooner.
Quote requests and messages: as long as we might reasonably need them, and generally not more than three years.
KaizoCore crash reports: until the problem they describe is fixed, and never more than a year.
Client records, files, and invoices: for as long as you are a client, and for seven years after that, because tax and business records have to be kept.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Blake@willowcreek.group or call (740) 310-9000 and we will do it. There is no form and no fee.
If you asked to hear from us and changed your mind, say so and we will stop.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you.
