Today it takes a PC, a patcher, a randomizer, an emulator, a tracker that only runs on a computer, and OBS. KaizoCore does all of it on an Android phone, in one app, so more people can play and more streamers' chats can play along.

Download the APK on the phone. Android asks once to let your browser or file manager install apps. Say yes.
Open it. The app installs like any other and updates by installing the next APK over it.
Bring your own game dumps. The app contains no ROMs, links to none and downloads none.

YOUR FIRST RUN

ROMS tab, ADD FILES, pick your dump. A zip is fine; it is unpacked on the phone.
RUN tab, pick the game, pick a ruleset (Kaizo, Standard, Survival, Ultimate), NEW RUN. The randomizer runs on the phone with the official settings file for that game.
PLAY. The tracker sits under the game in portrait and beside it in landscape.

PREP is only for Nat. Dex on Emerald or FireRed v1.1. Uninstalling the app wipes its games, saves, notes and attempt count; install the new APK over the old one instead.

A clone of the PC IronMON tracker that reads the game as you play: party, opponent, moves seen, abilities revealed, badges, heals. Gen 1 through Gen 5, and the card above is the app's own tracker in each of them, sprites from your ROM and all.

PLAY

Eight save state slots with screenshots, auto-save, load and lock

Game Boy, Game Boy Color, GBA and DS. Eight save slots with screenshots and an auto-save, rewind, slow motion, cheats, controllers, custom button layouts and skins.

PREPARE A RUN

The RUN screen: Standard, Kaizo, Super Kaizo, Ultimate, Survival and Doubles buttons, the settings files, IMPORT and EDIT

Add a dump and the library says what it is and whether it is clean. Apply a patch or a hack, and it refuses a patch for the wrong game. The Universal Pokémon Randomizer is built into the app, not a second download: pick Standard, Kaizo, Super Kaizo, Doubles, Ultimate or Survival from the official settings files, or open any of them in the editor and change whatever you like, then tap NEW RUN.

Gen 1's two-pass randomization is done for you.

STREAM

The tracker is an OBS browser source on your own network, with the attempt counter as a text source beside it, so your overlay places them the way the PC setup does. The game comes off the phone through your screen mirror, and CLEAN VIEW hides everything but the game, or both DS screens, for the capture.

Cheats and rewind switch themselves off on a tracked run, so a stream is never in question.

KEEP IT

RetroAchievements with a hardcore mode that locks the helpers, cloud sync of your saves through the file picker, and backups that never include a ROM.

EVERY GAME THE TRACKER KNOWS

Each of these is the player's own dump, booted in the app and photographed at the title. Red through LeafGreen on the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance cores, Diamond through White 2 on the DS core, and the tracker reads all of them.

KaizoCore contains no ROMs, links to none and downloads none. Asking here where to get one gets no answer.

Android 8 or newer. A DS game wants a phone with at least 3 GB of RAM. It installs as a downloaded APK, which means telling Android once that your browser or file manager may install apps.

The first round is small: a handful of players and streamers, playing as much as they like and telling me what got in the way. Leave a way to reach you and the phone you would test on.
